What is this?

What is this?

No-one seemed to get my last quiz which was a squirrel's tail. Well this has nothing to do with squirrels - at least I don't think so.

Anyway there are no prizes, just a bit of fun - I'll reveal the answer next Sunday.

Another hard one, Gerald.

Pumpkin turd? Moose droppings? Uncle Harold's nose?

UGH, I have no real idea. Maybe an eye on the side of a building or the pepsi cola logo?

Not an easy quiz. But the tree branches might give a clue. I guess it could either be a huge bird nest or bee hive. :)

Your quizzes always get me, Gerald. Such good photos of something that is difficult to see.

my guess is that this is part of an old wrought iron lamp - and this is a part of one of the glass sections that has broken. It's very old I feel.

I've got a small quiz on Menton DP today.

It looks like to me a design on the side of a building. Maybe on an old church.

Gerald, - you, along with Gail's Man from Nottingham won a postcard for most original answer on Menton DP. Please send your snail mail address to jilly@pensionmilou.com

You'll find the correct answer on the Menton DP now.

A tarp over a compost heap?

Whatever it is it seems to have different coats or layers of different materials.Orange seems like the color of the original wall or billboard and there's a layer of carboard, maybe tiles of cardboard, and then something like tar or thick paint, and finally a green cover imitating a lawn or something. I just can't wait to see the answer cause I am really curious about it. I would say it is a decayed billboard.

It looks to me like the boiler of an old steam engine.
