Heritage Stop in the Rain
I noticed a sign in the Bus Station yesterday that said the Heritage Stop would be closed for an indefinite period for refurbishment, so thought I'd better post this picture which was taken last week.
Well it does need some attention but let's hope they don't take too long as they won't be providing a temporary stop and it is a bit of a walk down to the Bus Station.

There is nothing worse than waiting for a bus in the rain. :(
that's a very pretty bus shelter compared to ours.
I finally got a picture of some diggers "cats" yesterday and just posted them, now to go and look at yours again to compare diggers.
Yes, whenever there is a re-decoration work to be done, we are alway inconvenienced. Nice photo.
beautiful bus station wish we have like that too.
A very grey, damp looking time there Gerald!
Fingers crossed that they don't replace it with a French monstrosity like the ones we have in Manchester.
At present the advert shows Julia Roberts with moustache kindly provided by the locals.
Hopefully the council will restore the shelters & perhaps paint them a lighter shade of green.
2 very good posts "the old and the new" love both posts.
slowly catching up and recovering
New Steam post up now.
