This view was taken from
Hattersley Station using a zoom lens to focus on Godley Junction.
The line of the old railway to Apethorn can be clearly seen. The trackbed beyond Brookfold Lane is now a footpath and part of the TransPennine Trail.
Today on
Old Hyde there is a 1989 photograph by Peter Whatley showing the junction more clearly and the platforms at what was then
Godley East Station.
