Hyde Chapel from Aspland Road

One of the earliest views on Hyde Daily Photo was of Hyde Chapel from Aspland Road. I was up there again recently and took a new photograph from near the same spot.

It is certainly BBC picture - perfect! I expect helena Bonham Carter to come up the hill with a parasol at any moment ;-)

Beautiful view and greenery all around! It associates me to beginning of some nice fairytale.

Once again Gerald you take me back in time to my childhood and for that I thank you. I went to the school in Enfield Street which lies in the shadow of this fine church. I now live in Newton but spend as much time as I can in and around Gee Cross.
I have a poem on my blog today about Werneth Low ... please feel free to make use of it.

curly - I am of the same mind Curly. I was going to say the epitome of the English countryside photo.

Definitely better than Poor ol' Percy in Oxford whos's up to the top of his wellies in water!!

Beautiful day and a lovely view. I love the brilliant colors.

This picture makes me want to head for the airport. It seems a far cry from the floods we have been reading about.

This new photo shows lots more green. It's nice to see where you were standing when you took the photo. I also like the close up of Hype Chapel from last April.

I love the aspect here, you look & right away there is a mood, a feeling that you could walk to this place, take up residence, and live happily ever after.

It just feels good to view it. Hopeful even.
