On our way to Gee Cross Fete we met a horse trotting towards us along
Mottram Old Road.
Despite the heavy rain in previous days, the ground held up well and some sun appeared for a time. I may post a few photos from the fete here at a later date.
Meantime you can view an album of 25 photographs at
Gee Cross Fete 2007.

still good for transportation, and probably better during "rush hour" (?!)
liked all the local flavor on the fete album too!
j'oserais pas faire du cheval en pleine rue à Evry, les gens roulent trop vite. belle photo de liberte
I would not dare to make horse in full street with Evry, people roll too quickly. beautiful photograph of freedom
Wow brave girl. My horse has jousted and is bombproof, but I would never dare take him up there, too busy and too many parked cars on the side of the road
Lizzy
One of my favourite things to see - a horse trotting down a main road! Horses are such beautiful animals...
