Mottram Old Road
This road lying under the shadow of Werneth Low goes from Gee Cross through Hattersley to the end of the M67.
Before the building of Alder Community School the left hand side displayed an array of beautiful mature trees.

A different view than 100 years ago when people in their Sunday best walked from the mills of Hyde to the country side of Hattersley and Werneth Low.
Don't try walking up the middle of the road now your likley to end up with wagon up your bum.
The school has not detracted from the area.
Still an interesting road to walk.
