Dog waiting patiently on its lead

Last week I showed you the Pet Stop outside Asda where you can leave your dog while you shop. However it wasn't being used. Today's picture is of a dog waiting outside Morrisons.

Here are some more pictures of waiting dogs around the world:

Bath ~~ Buenos Aries ~~ Menorca ~~ Menton ~~ Naples ~~ New York City ~~ St Louis ~~ St Paul ~~ South Shields ~~ Toronto

There are also lots on Jilly's Riviera Dogs site.

Thanks for the link, GE. Here are my dogs: http://bathdailyphoto.wordpress.com/tag/dogs/
Just hyping it because of the last (or really first) dog in front of the granary--what is it? sheep-type dog-thing? I don't know dogs...but the one that you linked to bites people....

Interesting stuff. Just not a custom here in New Orleans.

Great idea to feature dogs waiting. Such patient creatures - they teach up a lesson!

Thanks for including my links, Gerald.

well i don't think that the link to my dog "nuky" (menorca)is in the right post... she was "posing" for this shot during a stop in our seaside morning walk, of course if you observe the shot there's no kind of rope or anything else attaching my best friend... (i dont't use to leave the dog outside of shops attached to anything)

Dogs are faithful animals and this one will be so happy to see its master or owner come out of the store or shop. Nice photo.

Hope you have a nice weekend.

This is a cute photo. I have some "dogs in waiting" photos from around the place, though not Villigen, so I've been keeping them to myself. Maybe I should put them on the appendix. In my favorite shot, the lead isn't even tied to anything, just lying on the ground next to the amazingly well-behaved dog.

Thanks for your input on pre- and post- dating my entries. I can do one, but not the other (Blogger doesn't let me - must be some setting I switched on). And you're right, the RSS works on (or is supposed to work on) the "real" time, as evidenced by the appearance of posts on the portal or the feeds, if you subscribe to them. OTOH, the feed for my blog is malfunctioning right now as I mentioned, so it must do the same for other people.
