Awarded National Lottery Funding
Here is a bit of a quiz for visitors.
The blue plaque here states "Awarded National Lottery Funding".
So who can guess what sort of building this plaque is attached to? Was the award just for this building?
Answers in the comment box - I may offer clues along the way depending on what is said. I will reveal the full answer next Tuesday.

Um..a school?
That blue sign reminds me of the sticker on my bananas though...
I had the same thought as Susan before me.
Hmmm...the were awarded Lottery for guessing how many bricks in the wall?
We need more clues...
Is is somewhere near yesterdays photo, the railings and gate look the same, so is the school lottery funded?
It is definitely not a school. Schoolkids may well be regular visitors and I'm sure many of them will have a banana in their lunchbox.
swimming pool?
A Community Centre.
Since you like quizzes and things, there's a couple at my Things UK blog today.
A library, maybe?
He he, this is a hard one, as I know that the lottery money goes to fund a really diverse range of things.
nice answers -- I've left a wee clue on lynn's other blog -- note there are two questions -- the specific building which is more mundane than current suggestions and the wider context.
Hmm, banana clue...is it a zoo or some animal shelter harboring monkies?
The building must be a public toilet, becuse they always seem to waste the money, besides, buying lottery tickets in the first place is a waste of money
