As I'm away for a while, Pamela from
Tenerife is posting a series of photographs from the environs of Hyde rather than the town itself.
Past Stalybridge town centre the canal goes by one of the largest supermarkets in the area. Personally I prefer to go to
Asda

I wouldn't believe it had I not seen it with my own eyes, a canal next to a supermarket. One day I would like to spend some time on a narrowboat.
