Walking the Dog

I've posted a picture of the old railway line before. This section is about half a mile west of the previous picture. In the present heatwave, this deep cutting lined with vegetation offers welcome shade.

A path on the left leads into Gower Head Wood, while one on the right leads back towards town.

Can you ride bikes along here too? When i lived in Wimborne in Dorset the old rail line was a bike and walking track - connected it to Poole, I think.

I would think so -- people certainly ride horses along at least parts of it. One or two of the entry/exit points might involve you having to lift the bike over a fence or gate.
