I've posted a picture of the
old railway line before. This section is about half a mile west of the previous picture. In the present heatwave, this deep cutting lined with vegetation offers welcome shade.
A path on the left leads into
Gower Head Wood, while one on the right leads back towards town.

Can you ride bikes along here too? When i lived in Wimborne in Dorset the old rail line was a bike and walking track - connected it to Poole, I think.
I would think so -- people certainly ride horses along at least parts of it. One or two of the entry/exit points might involve you having to lift the bike over a fence or gate.
