Shadows Around Throstle Bank Bridge

Yesterday afternoon the sun came out for a brief spell and I was able to capture these tree shadows around the railway bridge over Throstle Bank Street.

Clumps of daffodils are beginning to think about budding.

For more shadows visit Hey Harriet.

The arch of the bridge contains a large shadow which is in character of the massive stone crossing. The smaller details outside the span are wonderful, each bare tree leaving a nice shadow. It feels much like Spring in this scene!

What an inviting springtime photo! I am especially attracted to that luscious-looking grass!

MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”
Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?

Beautiful shadows beneath the arch. Our daffodils will be a while yet, they are still deep beneath the snow.

Someday we will maybe have fresh, green laws too.

Don't you like when you can kill two birds with one stone, so to speak? Great shadows on the brick bridge, and a nice looking bridge, too!

I have had such fun looking at all of the arched stone bridges this week. I love them so as they are so beautiful. This is a wonderful shot with a bouquet of different colors and pretty shadows.
