After visiting the Methodist Church on Crook Street for our tea and toast last Saturday, we noticed these emerging shoots.
I think they will develop into daffodils. In any case it seems to be a sign that Spring is on its way.

Always wonderful to see those first glimpses of spring regardless of how small! Great post for the E Day!

Great Scott! My daffodils won't be at this stage until late March. Good for you!

I just notices some similar shoots in by back yard, but I think they are Crocus.
Having toast and tea at your church sounds lovely. I'll take a cuppa.
very interesting entry....:) thanks for sharing!
Check out my ABC Wednesday entry as well. Much appreciated!
It's so warm in Topeka today that I had to shovel some dirt on top of Tessa's daffodils and tulips. They are poking through and trying to grow. We must discourage them for another month.
