ABC Wednesday
C is for Chartist House

Chartist House as viewed from across Union Street.

It is one of two blocks of high rise flats in the town. Originally built as Council Housing but now operated by the New Charter Housing Association.

They remind me of the blocks of flats I saw growing up in Coventry UK.

Filled with countless stories; one can hope that people know eachother, living that close together and that it is not a tower of anonymous neighbours.

Please have you all a good Wednesday.

I am very partial to these types of buildings since I grew up in one in Tuzla, Bosnia (skyscraper at 10 stories). I notice there are no balconies. The buildings look in really good shape.
