Weekend Reflections
Christmas Lights Switch On
This is the fourth of six photographs taken at the switching on of the Christmas lights outside Hyde Town Hall.
Although the actual Christmas lights had not yet been switched on, there were plenty of lights illuminating the area and being reflected in this barrage of balloons.

A flying Christmas...
This is the kind of traditions we don't have here in France : when it comes to chrismas lights, we juste wake one day and they are just here, as if they were always there and we just didn't notide them before...
Thanks for sharing this very special moment : it is always a pleasure to discover foreigh countrie trandition, especially when the pictures are so beautiful...
A bright and coorful beginning!
This is definitely a joyous celebration in the making..great photo!
Electric blue colors in those balloons ... I went back to see your other "switched on" photos, and I'm voting for Lady Gonegaga!
Nice reflections in this one.
I always worry that the balloon sellers will take off and float away, with so many ballons in their hands.
Looks like a fun time! I like the way the lights and darkness make the reflections look.
... to be a child.
Please have a wonderful weekend.
