Ewen Fields from St Thomas

Yesterday I posted a view of shadows behind St Thomas the Apostle.

On the right of that photograph were some railings on top of the wall.

This is the view through those railings looking over the field that formerly belonged to Leigh Street school. On the far side is Ewen Fields the home of Hyde FC.

This really is a nice view Gerald... makes the old place look very nice.. Tinkers Passage took me back to my childhood when I would walk up there to watch Hyde United with my football mad older brother... alas he is no longer here but pictures such as these bring back many happy memories... Thank you..

I like the way the leaves frame this view
