Shadow Shot Sunday:
Godley Steps

These steps lead up the Glossop-bound platform at Godley Station.

The original coloured version can be seen on Geograph.

These steps are lovely, as they seem to climb to the heavens. The shadows tease us as the light is altered if we choose to look down. Yet, by looking up, the burst of sun is our destination. Beautiful effects!

Gee I hate following Ralph, 'cuz he always has such good words. All I can say is ditto to what he said. Beautiful effects!

Hmm, Godley Station - I wonder if those crossing the bridge are "Godley"?

I live in Auckland, and I have a similar photo like this. I liked it when I photograph it, but I have not use it.

Great job,
