Since I showed you this section of Dowson Road in
July 2009 the premises on the corner have re-opended as the
Leading Edge Health and Beauty Salon.
Unlike the
Hot Crumpet next door, the last time I passed by, it didn't appear to very busy but maybe that will change.
I can't help but notice that the tyre sign is still flying above.

I would think starting a business during a recession would be extra tricky!
Quite an amusing shot in a way. A girl comes out of the Leading Edge and turns into Hot Crumpet!
I'm afraid that I'd be more likely to visit The Crumpet than a beauty store.
Worth a visit - my son's loved the experience! Snooker table and big screen tv amazing - your kids and hubbies will not be bored waiting for their haircut here! Give it a try.

I passed the leading edge today and noticed that the tyre sign had been changed to avoid any confusion between health and beauty and tyres!
I booked an appointment in the mens area, great staff and a lads playground. A modern way to cut mens hair
