Four years ago I showed you this
railway cutting wall where the Trans Pennine Trail passes under Stockport Road.
Since then the wall along with the rest of the trail has been "tidied up".
I wonder how long it will take for the flora to regain its grip on the wall.

...leaving the stones, dreaming of a garden.
A wonderful Friday for you.

It's a pity indeed. But the nature will recapture its lost area.
I like the stones, but really, why pull out flowers -- one of the mainstays of British charm? I miss them every spring. Our garden is full of flowers but so different from England's spring flowers. "Oh to be in England..." such a cliche but so true when I see all the British spring flower blogs.
It does look all neat and tidied up, but nature will have its way.
