It's good to do business with local owners...you're not just a customer, but also a friend.
The storefront looks like the owners would be helpful - it has a friendly 'come on in' feel!

Customer service in places does seem in decline, its great when you find a place that upholds it!

We like to buy things from small independent stores, instead of the 'big guys'. Usually we find they are more helpful and have more time, and are less pushy, even if they are usually a little more expensive!
such little stores are almost disappearing that's a pity.
