Yuletide Ends Today
Today is the twelfth day of Christmas and the time has come to take down the decorations.
On Christmas Day I showed you the Town Hall with all the lights lit up.
So now here is how it looked the Saturday after New Year with the tree covered in freshly fallen snow.
You can see the top of the Town Hall on Hyde DP Xtra or the whole view on Geograph.

Beautiful capture! Love the snow covered tree!
Sylvia
you seem to be one of the few people who understands Christmastide. Thanks for that.
Still decorated, but this time by Nature.
Love the dusting of snow on the trees. We missed the Yuletide dismantling of decorations by one day. Everything came down yesterday and now its getting the house back in order again. Everything looks so blah now.
I agree time to take down all the Christmas decoration today. And waiting for another Yuletide season 11 months from now. ^_^ Thanks for sharing!
YOU
Lovely photo, but it always seems a bit of a letdown when it's all over for another year. Happy New Year!
Nicely frosted tree! I liked the lights and excitement that accompanied the decorated tree but this is superb!
Still, a very pretty sight.
That is a fine Yuletide shot - with lots of red and green colours topped with snow
In Norway "Juletiden" is over today too.
A nice photograph
Evergreens look so beautiful covered in snow.
Yes, traditionally we remove our tree and decorations on January 6. I wonder how many homeowners will follow this tradition, if any of them know it at all? Your photo makes winter look so beautiful. We all know, of course, that it's an illusion! Happy winter!!
my favorite thing about snow is how it decorates the trees
this is a lovely photo
I have a soft spot for old brick buildings
my Mother used to call today 'Little Christmas' - I'm not sure of the origin of that expression, it's on my long list of things to learn about :)
Oh, that's a good one! I've just finished taking down my decorations!
Love the snow-covered tree!
Nature's decoration is as good, if not better, than Man's. Took my Christmas cards down at home at the weekend - it does look rather bare now.
This is beautiful...would make a nice Christmas card.
The snow is all the decoration this tree needs. It looks beautiful. Hope you had a nice Yultide.
Looks like you have received lots of snow. It is snowy here at my house and bitterly cold.
Stay warm,
Sherry
