Snowman Attacked

Out on Swains Valley a week ago I came across this dog enjoying itself attacking the remnants of a snowman.

You can see a close-up of the dog on Ackworth born, gone West.

All this snow has gone now and the green grass shows through again but it is still very cold with patches of ice in places.

OK, that is a first for me to see a snowman attacked by a dog! Too funny. Something a little boy would, for sure, or any kid I guess!
Have a great day!

A dog's work is play. So we see him working hard, here. Given the love of snow by our furry friends, he will 'work' as hard as he cah here!

I'll bet that dog was having the time of its life, and you must have enjoyed the spectacle.

My dog has never seen a snowman, no way am I gonna stand out there and role snow balls around my yard in the freezing cold, those days are long gone to memories!

What a joy it must be, to be that dog.

Please have a nice Sunday.

Cool how you linked these two shadow shots within your posts. I think there is enough difference between the two that you'd be fine to add both links to Mr Linky if you wanted to. I was referring to photos posted on multiple blogs that were 'exactly' the same image. With no cropping or editing or anything to make them the slightest bit different. I just found that to be a little bit confusing. Thought I was going mad...maybe I am... ;)

Hi Gerald
Nice to catch up on you, you have been showing some great images of the snow in Hyde, I also notice many from other folk on Facebook. I have not been able to get out like I would normally... mostly because of the cold.. I do feel that I've missed many great chaces of fine pictures.

good watch dog!
why wait for them to melt, just attack and be done with it! ;)

Good fun .... we used to throw snowballs for our spaniel, who was puzzled when she couldn't find them!!

What a terrible way to go. First melt, then be savaged by a dog. Poor frosty, you won't be forgotten.
