The Bricklayers Arms on Reynold Street closed over three years ago.
I showed you how it looked in
January 2007 after conversion to a residence.
It hadn't changed much until recently. Now the outside has been re-plastered.

I used to drink in the Brickies years ago Gerald. I used to live in John Grundy flats, so it was not too far to stagger home. A bloke called Danny took it over and did quite well with it, but because it was off the beaten track a bit, I dont think it was patronised as well as some of the Market Street pubs.
It still look like a business place not a home...
