Kirkley Street on Christmas Day
Kirkley Street is off Dowson Road and like all such side streets had not been gritted.
In the background is the tower of St George's Church.

The approach of the snow by Hyde shows us a another take on the Christmas season. Nice. Best wishes, nice to see a classic style CDP blog. Rain in falling here - badly needed.
Most feel nice to hear the sound of the bells throughout the day, living that close to a church.
Please have a nice Sunday.
A sugary dusting of snow . How wonderful!!!
Looks pretty as a picture, great filmy tower in the distance - nice snowy day.
Looks neat with the tower in the background.
I can't even imagine the feeling of the cold weather and snow right now though *shudder*
:)
Cheers from Egypt!
Love the church fading in the background.
I hope they give residents a key to escape.
A pleasing match of the ancient and modern.
I'm enjoying these images of Hyde.
It sure is pretty, especially that church tower in the background.
Brave man Gerald, going out Christmas Day in the snow.
