Trail near Donald Avenue
Since starting this blog I've got to know most of the length of the Trans Pennine Trail between Apethorn and Godley.
This section is near Werneth Brook. On the left is Donald Avenue and on the right is Grange Road North.

How long is this trail, Gerald? It looks like a good place to run or ride bike.
The whole trail is 215 miles - see http://www.transpenninetrail.org.uk/ but the local section on the dismantled Godley to Apethorn railway line is about 4 miles.
And it also looks like a great place to hike.
I've cycled this near Penistone - lovely scenery and a great biking trail. Although in summer it gets very busy on certain parts. Would be a great challenge to do all 215 miles.
I am intriguing on your posts...
Awesome! Jobe well done.
215 miles? Wow, that would make for a long ride...
God bless you!
Cezar

Anothe wild and lonely place I would enjoy with my camera.
