Barefoot in Hyde
I saw this young woman walking barefoot through town last week, carrying her shoes/sandals.
About half an hour later I saw her again, still barefoot, so grabbed a quick photograph.

Around here the younger set wears those darn flip-flops, which are not easy to walk in...
But, it probably is a bit less than heroic to walk about town in bare feet!
Yikes!
It's a common sight overhere Gerald.
She looks like she is enjoying herself!
Sandy Shaw lives!
How times change ... my parents would have been horrified if as a child in the 1950's I'd gone onto a public road without shoes on ... not wearing shoes was a sign of real poverty -
Look at photographs of the past and you'll find many without shoes - in those days it was not a fashion statement .
Guess the high heel of her sandal was broken somehow...
Nice catch!
God bless you!

She was lucky if she didn't cut her foot on broken glass, stuck with chewing or even worse. wonder if she would do the same if it was raining?
I'd be too worried about what I might tread in!
