Springtime on the Peak Forest Canal
Remember my photo of the heron on the canal?
Three more photographs taken that same morning over the next three days.
The first is around the bend from where I saw the heron.

Beautiful spot and beautiful shot!
Looks like a wonderful peaceful place for a walk.
Looks very peaceful. It's not hard to understand why the bird chose such a place.
One of my childhood play areas Gerald. Still a place that draws me back once in a while as you know. I am looking forward to seeing what else you saw that day.

A lovely area - with or without herons.
This seems to be a great spot. I bet the canal is beautiful in the early summer too.
