Peak Forest Canal #1 of 4

Remember my recent photograph of the canal from the Manchester Road Bridge?

This was taken about some ten minutes later from the towpath under the bridge.

Paths that lead, paths that bring dreams, joys,
sorrows, loves, hopes.
Anyway, nothing has or will without path.
The path is part of our lives.
Certainly we were made to open roads, break barriers, overcome and win limits."

Just for a second, a slight moment there I thought the canal had drained away due to the angle of the photograph.

Only then after some looking I realized it was the towpath.
