Hearse House

Keystone of the Hearse House belonging to St Georges Church.

Gerald is still waiting for his ISP and British Telecom to sort out his connection to the Internet. In the meantime, Tom of Wiggers World has kindly supplied this post from Hyde.

As a child I was shown this by my older brother who said it was where the dead lived... he said if I looked through a crack in the door I could see them... I was scared but looked anyway as a child would do... My brother then pushed my back and said 'BOO!.. ha! No wonder my hearts bad now....:O)

Great "spooky" photo. Would I have looked as a child? Probably yes!

Interesting detail.
Sorry I haven't been commenting much lately - combination of life circumstances. SDP has had a 3rd birthday and you're invited to the party!
