Green Lane Pool
This deep pool near Green Lane, under the shadow of Werneth Low, is close to the source of Werneth Brook.

I think it's a cute pond...is it fed by an underground stream?
The reflections of the sky and trees in the pond are wonderful
lovely click
do people swim here in the summer?
(really, i'm curious)
do people swim here in the summer?
Absolutely not
There is a warning notice Danger - deep water.
The pool is probably fed by the water that drains from Werneth Low and is the source of Werneth Brook.
Rich in nature, beautiful.
Lovely picture!
I was dreaming about a little farm over there, and that mountain, and horses, and maybe could be there some good land for a wine producer? By the way there is vineyard in your region?

A very familiar image. How much wildlife does that little pond sustain I wonder.
