February Quiz: Muddy Bench

OK, it is quiz time again.

Obviously it was quite muddy when I passed by this bench on one of my walks. Maybe it would look a lot better in summer-time.

If you sat here one day, what do you think you might be viewing?

I'll give you the answer next Monday.

I suppose it depends on which of the four sides you are sitting. I guess there must be a train line there & like some others have said, a canal.

Well I would say the canal - but it's already been done - so how about 'ducks'?

You have been delighting us with pictures from the canals lately. I guess that we see the path alongside one of them and that in summer we would have seen a beautiful canal with all the trimmings. (No Google Maps or searching the net this time ;-) )

I think you see a walking path and trees, lots of trees, lol.

Thanks for your comment today!

I'm guessing it's on the edge of a quarry that has grown over.

The sensible answer is a train track otherwise I prefer waiting for Godot.
