Motorway over the River Tame

I first showed you the river Tame flowing under the M67 in July 2006 and a closer view in January 2008.

This was taken a few weeks ago from a bus crossing Broomstair Bridge.

the river Tame - anything to do with Thames?

The rivers Tame and Thames are entirely different rivers some 150 miles apart.

I adore the reflection of the the overpass and sky in the still water. Very lovely, Gerald!

A bridge with a nice reflection -what could be better?

I have stood by this bridge many times Gerald, and once or twice I was lucky enought to spot a Kingfisher flying under the bridge. You were just a few yards away from my brothers house there... two doors up as you made your way back to Hyde.. ;o)

Like Kim, "Louis" was taken by the reflection!

Re your comment at "Louis's" "Urban Art" post, indeed that is a groyne, but "Louis" can see how at first you might think those were swimmers in the water! The white on the posts is due to seagulls using the posts for (ahem) bombing raids.....

I like the photo too; the reflection, the blue color of water and the green areas around and specially the bridge. I am a civil engineer ;) In fact the first thing which catched my eye in your photo was the bridge.
Nice shot in moving!

Water is magic stuff. Even the sky becomes more beautiful reflected there.

I like the reflection of the sky. It makes the water look so blue.

Taken by both the reflection and the fact there has been a kingfisher there. A bird I have never been foRtunate to capture. It's a beautiful image to find one in.
