It's Nelson again
Nelson is a two-year old parrot who loves to go walking around the Market Place.
We last saw him a year ago outside a florists.

He is such a beautiful bird. I bet hes a great pet.
Oh, Gerald! How wonderful! When I first opened my store, a woman came in a couple of times with her pet bird. His name was either Earl or Ernie. . .I don't remember now. He would say, "Hello. Hello. Hello." I loved it. Does Nelson speak?
What a fabulous macaw!
Nelson is a cutie. He is beautiful and colourful.
Hi Gerald...
I know this couple who look after Nelson..... the chap as a real strong bond with the bird and it never seems alarmed when Nelson is with him. I see them walking around Newton and I remember once they were walking along the main road towards the Co-Op shop.. when a police car with the blues and two going went through the traffic lights at quite some speed.. the bird stayed calm when the man stopped and smoothed its feathers until the car had past.
He does have some sort of harness on doesn't he? Nice looking macaw and the photographic scene is nice too, Gerald.
Lovely colourful photo. A strange thing to see on the street, but he looks happy enough.
Pretty cute!!!
