Hanging Bank Wood

Remember last week's picture Beyond the Barbed Wire?

That was taken from a seat above the gateway to Hacking Knife.

In the opposite direction is this wood.

Good to see some green grass.

We had given up entirely on having a winter at all and then today it was snowing wildly. Gah, why bother now, it'll only melt away in no time...

Thanks Per for continuing to post for me. My connectivity problems are yet to be sorted out - see http://ackworthborn.blogspot.com/2008/03/abc-wednesday-i-is-for-ice-cream.html for details.

The forecast is for some cold weather here over the Easter period but it might not snow.

On Sunday there is an "Easter-egg hunt" event in the country park. If it isn't too cold I may go and take a few photos of it, but am not promising.

Well, I was going to ask how the computer thing is going, but I guess you answered that!

Nice shot, Gerald.

Looks inviting and like someplace I'd much rather be going to than work this morning.

This is just lovely. I don't always like winter landscapes but I love this one.

Hope the computer problems get sorted.
