Godley Reservoir from the Low
I'm presently on holiday so while I'm away Per Stromsjo from Stockholm is kindly posting a series of photographs taken from the top of Werneth Low.
Here we are looking across over Godley Reservoir. It seems to have been expanded somewhat in the last year or so.

Nice shot of the res there.
Looks good enough to swim in, just waiting for Gerald to come back off his holls, cause its too cold down south, lol.
This is a good shot Gerald, I can seethe houses on Matley Lane, The roof of the Bay Horse Public House, the factory roofs of what was ICI Rexine plant. and much more.
Lots of wildlife in the areas covered in this picture, Hawks, Owl, Fox, Badger, Weasles, King Fishers, Dippers, and Roe Deer are all to be found if you know where to look.
A bit of zoom makes all the difference. I like that blue colour of the reservoir.
It really is a pretty picture.
