Taking down the decorations
Yesterday morning, workmen were busy taking down the decorations from Hyde Town Hall.

Nice looking building - I love the leaded windows.
Nice shot, I feel bad that I didn't put anything up!!
Nice photo shot of workmen doing their jobs. Over here the christmas decorations are down, and they are putting up Chinese New Year decorations. Chinese New Year falls on 7th February.
The building is fascinating--I like the way it looks.
Ours are still up, although they've gone from the shops.
It's good to move on with 2008. I am happy the Christmas season is over. Now, let's think spring!

Here "Christmas" officially ended on Monday, the sales have started and the Carnival will begin soon, but I expect they may probably get around to taking down all the decorations by about Easter. Or not. In some places here they have been known to leave xmas lights up all year and just not switch them on in the meantime.
