The last Saturday before Christmas was busy as always. Carol singing in the Clarendon Shopping Centre was led this year by the Yew Tree Singers from Dukinfield.

I love this photo--the blue and red, the sign announcing them, the idea of them singing. Merry Christmas!

That looks like a perfect way to celebrate Christmas!
I hope that everyone has a good holiday.
This looks like a group of older citizens. I'm sure they were terrific! Many thanks for your visits this year. I hope that 2008 brings many joyous occasions for you to celebrate as well as good health and much happiness.
The lady playing the piano used to be my old music teacher when I attended Astley County Grammar School for Girls!!!!
well that must have helped to make last minute shopping a bit less stressful. I'm afraid Christmas in this country has lost many of these delightful original traditions and become much more of a coldly commercial exercise than a warmly spiritual one!
