Roving Bridge

Like Captain Clarke's Bridge the Manchester Road bridge on the Peak Forest Canal is a roving bridge. This photograph, although I've made it look old, was taken yesterday from the south-west. Frank Bennett's photo taken in 2000 from the south-east can be seen on Old Hyde which carries more information about the history of the bridge.

Why is it that your photos always make me want to take a walk through your neck of the woods?
