Late Autumn Footpath

I posted a picture of this footpath last autumn, then again in winter and once again in springtime.

It was very near here last week that I found a spent rocket.

OH, Gerald! I think this is my favorite photo of the ones you have shown of this footpath. . .It looks so inviting. . .

Did you photoshop this to get these wonderful colors? Or is that just the way it looked in the light of day? It's simply beautiful.

Gerald, I have to answer something you wrote on my site about the song Isabella mentioned. . . .I know exactly what you mean. That entire day I couldn't get the song out of my head. AUGH. I do have to tell you that I named my store Paper Moon because the song was in my head, and I took it as a sign!! :-)

Great shots. I think I liked this photo the best - the winter one, it looked to bleak but then again, I like my winter scenes with lots of snow (hazard of living in Northern Ontario).

This path looks very nice.

Sorry I could not reply earlier. I was very surprised to read that you also have a noise and air pollution problem. (But I think out problem is bigger :) because we have millions lighting up). For some reason I just assumed that there you have restrictions/laws that prohibit citizens from lighting up fireworks except in designated places. Sorry to hear that the nuisance has extended perhaps due to people celebrating Diwali. This can be a sensitive subject but celebrating things the way people did back home, without adapting to the traditions/customs of their new home can only mean trouble for them and a bad name for the community in general.... I remember reading about the Indian community celebrating Diwali or the Independence Day on the West Coast in the US. Every year they would rent a community hall and each year they got louder and people would throw garbage on the streets (because the organizers did not provide adequate cans), and park on sidewalks, and finally the city (Fremont, California) refused to allow them to hold their celebrations there. They had to find an alternate place in some other city and just reading it was shameful to me.

It makes me want to take a ramble. But obviously not on Guy Fawkes'. That might be detrimental to one's health.
