Whippets, Crickets, Worms and Locusts
At the newest pet shop in town you can buy live foods.
I don't know much such exotic food costs but a pedigree whippet will set you back £350.

What a funny picture - makes me giggle!!!
Gives a new meaning to displaying the menu in the window. Were there little nose prints on the glass??
Oh, I thought it might be sweets for Harry Potter and friends to take back to school and you had been shopping in Diagon Alley....
The insects look tasty, not sure about fried whippit.
Just posted a bus pic with links to the buses in Hong Kong etc.
Who would want one?You nearly made me scream when I saw the picture
This is so cute...I don't want to purchase any but is makes a great picture!
yuk! As long as I don't have to eat these, I'm very happy. ;)
By absolute and pure coincidence today, as I was going through my RSS feeds, food blog, YumSugar listed 13 Freaky Foods for Freaky Friday, which included Edible Bugs.
EatBug.com even have recipes and begin that page with, "By far the most difficult part of attempting any insect recipe is acquiring the necessary ingredients." Well, you just proved 'em wrong on that score. Still don't want to try any, thank you. How did your side order of mealworms go with the butcher's homemade sausages? :-)
It does make Bertie Bott's Any Flavour Beans seem tame by comparison, even if the latter do come in vomit flavour!
woow , sounds exciting to me..
i wish i am there to try one of them !!..just to know how they might taste like..
That menu makes me glad I'm human, and not a snake, frog or lizard. Now I'm off to browse your other pics, first time here, and I started with the top photo.
Great capture. I won't be shopping there anytime soon, so I guess I'll have to stick to eating foods that are quite, quite dead.
Sounds quite biblical.
"And a plague of whippets did descend on the population and they were fearful and did wail at great volume and kneweth not what to do"
