Mobility Shop
Hyde Shopmobility closed down during the middle of last year. We don't know the full circumstances surrounding the closure. It used to hire out scooters and manual wheelchairs for use within Clarendon Shopping Centre and its environs. It was also a bit of a meeting place and we could leave some of our shopping there and collect it after doing some more.
A commercial firm, has now taken over the premises. The new people seem very friendly and we hope they'll continue to meet the needs of shoppers and others who require their services.

That's really interesting - I've never seen a shop that hires out transport for use in a shopping centre. Most of our bigger stores have a couple of those buggy-mobiles available for elderly people - I had to use one once after I tore a ligament in my knee and couldn't walk around the shop to get my groceries. I think people thought I was just messing around, since I looked a bit young to be on a buggy... was quite an education though - they're not that easy to drive!
Morning! Mornington results are in.
Top hole shot sir!
