Pennine Snow

Here we are looking across over Hattersley towards Mottram and the Longdendale Valley.

Compare it with the same view from last year

It is the time of year for snow. In fact I prefer to have four distinct seasons and was concerned Winter was going to be skipped completely this year ... Shooting a panoramic view of a city is a challenge. One I have not been successful with yet. Your photo peeks my interest in trying again.

How kind of you to add me to the list (even though I was not yet "official"!)! Thank you! Yours was actually one of the first blogs I looked at when decided whether to do a daily photo blog, so I was quite delighted to see that you had been by mine. :)

So.... you got snow at last, we had snow all winter, last year at this time, I was doing work around the garden, not this winter
