Broomstair Bridge


Broomstair Bridge crosses the River Tame which forms the boundary between Hyde, Cheshire and Denton, Lancashire.

From here the river heads south towards Haughton Green to join the Mersey near Stockport.

The lush green in this photo is fantastic. I just want to be in the picture. Very lovely. Many of my ancesters hail from Cheshire. It's nice to see a river that defined a boundary they would have known.
