Hyde Cemetery Chapel

This chapel lies within the grounds of Hyde Cemetery.

Despite its grim associations with Shipman — four exhumations were made within the cemetery, the first of which was the first inclination the public had of what he'd been up to — the cemetery is a quiet and contemplative place with views over the countryside to the North.

WOW!!! Great shot! What a beautiful and charming chapel. It looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale!

hmmm...i love the spookiness of these cemeteries. we stayed in a "gothic temple" about 20miles north of oxford for a couple of nights (surprisingly cheap actually, as much as you'd pay for a regular hotel room) and it was most enchanting...and a bit scary too.
