This bus operated on the 341 route a few years ago. It is seen here inside the old bus station. It took them about 15 months to demolish and rebuild the bus station.

Alas this particular bus isn't running on local routes.
It may be around covering other routes. As I understand it, certain routes get put out to tender and bus companies large and small, bid to operate them. Sometimes the contracts are given to firms some distance from the route in question. In this case it was a firm from Rochdale running the service. They may still be operating the same bus in and around the Rochdale area. Currently the service operator is Speedwells from Glossop and I'll be posting a picture of one of their buses in a couple of days time.
