Theme: Changes
The CDPB theme today is Changes which (if three years can create a tradition) is a change in itself.
Traditionally today has been when we've published our best photo of the year, but this year that has been put back to January 15th.
As a result of that decision the deadline for voting for Hyde Daily Photo of the Year 2009 has been put back to 11.59 pm GMT on January 2nd, so there is still a little time left to make your choice. There are twelve contenders. Everyone has six votes to cast in the manner they choose. The photographs and voting form can be found at Best of Hyde 2009.
Meanwhile, my contribution to today's theme is a photograph of Hyde Telephone Exchange on Water Street.

How we all rely on telephones these days.
Love the writing on the street sign.
May this new year give way for all your wishes and provide you with joy, health and happiness.
Oh a very devious approach to the theme, Gerald. I like that!
I wish you health and happiness as we journey into 2010.
Hi Gerald,
Just a quick note to wish you the very best for 2010 - have a great year ahead.
PS: Any change is for the better! :)
Ah, clever use of the word change, Gerald. I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year!
The telephone ex"change" seems to have change happening under the plywood sheathing. Happy New Year, Gerald!
Hi Gerald,
Happy new year 2010! I wish the new year will bring you joy and happiness :)
Nice building by the way.
Groan of the day award ;-)
And a happy new year tou you and all yours.
Of course, there is change inside as well - where the building used to be full of equipment, it is now probably empty rooms
No groan from me .. a chuckle instead .. I must need more caffeine because I did not see the bun coming until it was delivered.
Happy New Year .. best wishes to you and yours.
Well, you came up with a pretty neat exCHANGE for the new year!
