Pedestrian Crossing


This pedestrian crossing on Market Street is probably the busiest in town.

Buses from Stockport stop outside the new Subway Sandwich Bar and people cross to reach the market by the Crown Pole.

I wonder if you've long red light on for pedestrian caused in Cologne the red light on for quite long even only in short cross,in our local TV they putted on after some survei that Cologne traffic light is the longest red on all over Germany

Ah Market Street... some of the most important shops in the area used to be further up that street!

Ron Hill's shop for one, and Kong's chippy! I miss northern chippies!

Ron Hill's is still there - and so is Kong's - you can see the end of their shop on this shot of Edna Street from last year.

ouch, i can't handle with that... it was so difficult crossing a road in UK... cars come from the wrong way to me! ;)

They all seem to be hurrying toward the bank. It is familar to me since I first saw HSBC in México, but haven't seen any here, at least in these parts.
