So friends support the by-pass, it will be safer for our little children and beneficial to the village.Ashtonianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14669236045514900658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-28297518403208458792008-04-29T19:51:00.000+01:002008-04-29T19:51:00.000+01:00Please do not read this post out of context. It is not part of any campaign either for or against the bypass.

By all means make your points but please do not mistake jocular remarks about fences and fumes as indicating a commitment to a particular view.

This is a photographic site not a political forum.Gerald (SK14)https://www.blogger.com/profile/18308693910074268386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-14974373629170499752008-04-29T19:03:00.000+01:002008-04-29T19:03:00.000+01:00The traffic is lower because with the easter holid...The traffic is lower because with the easter holidays being at different times in different areas, the half-term effect has been 'stretched out' somewhat. Any local will tell you that the traffic reduces dramatically during school holidays, proving that the 'school run' effect bears a large part of the blame for this mess. We don't need a dirty great proto-motorway to sort that out.

If the traffic fumes are the only thing making you pro-bypass Gerald, then come over to our side - the Highways Agency themselves have said pollution will increase WITH the bypass...Children of Lewinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09450877880440878709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-32456250012780551102008-04-29T15:15:00.000+01:002008-04-29T15:15:00.000+01:00The congestion is terrible at both ends of the M67...The congestion is terrible at both ends of the M67 (not just the A57 you have chosen to show), the proposed Mottram bypass will make it even worse and increase the rat running through Denton and Hyde.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-76068601341685005932008-04-29T12:23:00.000+01:002008-04-29T12:23:00.000+01:00I'm fortunate that I don't have to sit in traffic ...I'm fortunate that I don't have to sit in traffic but I know around Atlanta, the interstates are a mess during rush hours.Tanya Breesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01949602989774270159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-53919825550343724492008-04-29T09:03:00.000+01:002008-04-29T09:03:00.000+01:00Thank goodness I don't have to go to work any more...Thank goodness I don't have to go to work any more.
This brings back memories of the daily crawl at 8am.KAZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06621294189351906599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25658231.post-66656237141595027082008-04-29T02:51:00.000+01:002008-04-29T02:51:00.000+01:00An all too common scene from around the western wo...An all too common scene from around the western world now days.
